F&C Bank was founded as Farmers and Commercial Bank in 1881 in Holden, Missouri by a group of local businessmen and farmers led by William Steele, the bank’s initial primary founder, investor and president. Today the bank ownership remains with individuals in the local area.

The bank was founded to provide financial services for agricultural producers, businesses and individuals of the area. Over 125 years later, the bank’s traditions and values that allowed it to survive, thrive and grow for so many years remain important to the management and associates of the bank. At the same time we realize the importance of staying progressive and changing with the times. We truly believe that our tagline “Finding solutions. We are small enough to focus on giving you the attention you deserve, while being committed to providing the modern banking services that you expect.
